NEXT STEP MANAGES KORTEC INC.'S STAND AT INTERPACK 2008

West Newbury, MA (May 1, 2008) . . . Next Step Communications recently managed the design and on-site installation of Kortec, Inc’s stand at the Interpack 2008 show in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Interpack is the world’s leading packaging exposition. Held every three years in Dusseldorf, this year’s show featured 179,000 attendees and 2,744 exhibitors, making it the largest Interpack in history.

Kortec is the world’s leading supplier of production systems for multilayer plastic packaging, including PET containers for beer, sparkling beverages, tea and juice. At Interpack, Kortec featured its latest product developments, including multilayer OPP containers for food products.

“This stand design was a challenge in that the audience is quite different from the traditional plastics shows like K and NPE, which Kortec also exhibits at,” said Greg Hannoosh, President of Next Step. “Attendees at Interpack tend to be the brand owners, people most interested in how to increase sales of their product lines through packaging.”

Thus, the Kortec stand was heavy on colorful graphics and actual samples of products produced with the company’s multilayer processing technology. A new slogan, “The World’s Leading Brands use Kortec,” appeared at the top of the company’s display.
