NEXT STEP NAMED AGENCY OF RECORD FOR SYNVENTIVE MOLDING SOLUTIONS

West Newbury, MA (September 28, 2009) . . . Next Step Communications Inc. has been named the agency of record for Synventive Molding Solutions.

Effective immediately, Next Step will provide advertising, public relations and other marketing communications support to Synventive, one of the world’s leading suppliers of hot runner systems and components to the plastics injection molding industry. Initial efforts will include a multi-faceted campaign to promote the company’s newly-launched web site, www.synventive.com.

From 1986-96, Hannoosh directed marketing communications activities for KONA Corporation, a Gloucester, Mass. based hot runner system supplier; he left to start Next Step Communications in 1996.

The original KONA Corporation was part of what is now Synventive. Berwind Corporation, the parent company of the Dynisco Companies, purchased KONA in 1992. Berwind acquired another hot runner supplier, Eurotool B.V. of The Netherlands in 1996 and brought the two companies together as Dynisco HotRunners. In 2001 Dynisco was sold by Berwind but the company kept the HotRunners group; the company was then renamed Synventive Molding Solutions.
