NEXT STEP SUPPORTS 10 CLIENTS AT NPE 2012

Kittery Point, ME (May 7, 2012) . . . Next Step Communications provided marketing support for 10 clients at the recent NPE 2012 show, held from April 1-5 in Orlando, FL. The company managed a wide variety of marketing projects for its clients including turnkey booth design and installation, PR, advertising, web-based marketing, collateral and video development and production, and other services.

“This was the largest number of clients Next Step has ever supported at an NPE show, and we’ve been involved with NPE since 1997,” said Greg Hannoosh, President of Next Step. “It was a great experience for us and we’re happy that the show was such a resounding success.”

Plastics industry companies that Next Step worked with at NPE, and what they featured at the show, included:

ENTEK Extruders - twin-screw extruders, complete extrusion systems/turnkey plants, replacement wear parts - introduced design enhancements to their extruders, including updated control systems; also introduced new wear part designs.

Gammaflux - hot runner temperature controllers - introduced an all-new controller at the show, the G24

Gloucester Engineering - blown film, cast film, foam extrusion, bag making systems - PRESS CONFERENCE AT SHOW held Monday April 2 at their booth

Kortec - multi-layer co-injection systems for food and beverage packaging – introduced new multi-layer thin-wall food container shapes, styles at the show

NyproMold - injection molds - introduced new CT scanning capability at NPE – likely the only moldmaker in the USA that has this technology

Parkinson Technologies Inc. - biax film and sheet converting systems, winders, screen changers - introduced all-new screen changer design at show

Polymer Resources Ltd. – engineering resins and compounds

PSI-Polymer Systems Inc. - screen changers, gear pumps, extrusion and recycling auxiliaries – introduced new gear pump trade-in program at show, also new back flush screen changer design

Synventive - hot runner systems - introduced new eGate electric valve gate system, also new automotive lighting hot runners and Plug 'N Play systems at show - this was their first NPE exhibit since 2003

Wittmann Battenfeld Inc.- complete injection molding work cells including machines, robots, automation and auxiliaries, featuring web and e-connectivity between all machinery and equipment - 'complete molding plant in the booth' - PRESS CONFERENCE AT SHOW held Wednesday April 4, 8:00 at their booth

NPE, held every three years, is the plastics industry’s largest North American event. It drew approximately 56,000 visitors from April 1-5 to Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.
